You don't want to touch someone being electrocuted anyways.

Kick, shoes are naturally grounded by the soles of leather or rubber/plastic material so you might feel a tingle for a moment but the force or the kick will break the circuit that goes from short to open and no current flow then.

If there's a greater than 0% chance of harm to myself, strangers can get fucked. Especially if they're suffering the consequences of being retarded.

The amount of I dont give a fuck there is LEGENDARY!

Typical Soy Guevara: they've been mistakenly led to believe that when their foolish endeavors go south, they're forcibly co-opted onto the responsible members of society.

That genius knew he had no business reaching behind the counter and touching that fan, but since he's pulled shit like this in the past and gotten away with it, he went back to the well.

Maybe that 50,000 joule attitude adjustment straightened his ass out, but I doubt it.

I mean, he literally died during the video…

Yea if you've never seen a person die you did right there. The arm movement was his last brain synapse.

At least he didn't take some innocent person with him that was just trying to do their job/live their lives.

When he's reincarnated he might have learned. Might not have electric fans in the future, though.

Agreed but wtf is going on there

Some sort of fault caused the entire metal fan to become electrically charged. When he grabbed it it was basically the same as sticking something metal into the outlet. The electricity causes his muscles to seize and he can’t let go, so he eventually fries.

I think the other guy legitimately didn’t see what was happening. As the video starts he’s already packing up his bag and his head never angles as though he’s looking toward the dying guy

I've gotten a shock from a metal-caged fan before. The coils are thin wire and the insulation isn't always great. Stick with three-prong fans and verify that the third prong really connects to the case and the outlet is really grounded.

A trick if you're paranoid is to touch the object first with the back of your hand. If it's live, your clenching hand won't grab the live object.

"Lofti Ibrahim al-Shamakh" Apparently he worked there too. weird how hes just wearing street clothes.

The guy that finally pulled him off was getting shocked while he did it. Watch his hand. Touch, jerk back, touch, jerk back.

So the lesson for today, children, is don't ever touch someone that is in the process of being electrocuted! It will hurt you also.

Whack em with a broom handle. Again and again for being stupid. And then again cuz it’s funny.

Then unplug the fan. LOL!!!

Would not touch the outlet either. Need to isolate the power source.

I would not be surprised that the cord had a greasy dust coating from never being cleaned "maintenance fired for wasting time on cleaning equipment that's FINNNEEE" and that conducts also.

Yeah again to remind him of the stupidity as in pain analogy to the shithead.

I nearly got electrocuted once as a kid and my mother apparently touched me to get me loose and got a shock. My father yanked the cord out of my hands (light bulb socket with the base of the bulb exposed, outside on concrete porch). Fortunately I was able to yell to my parents for help.

I thought he was just being an asshat until the sparks at the end.

If not rescued he could be manufactured into an asshat later.

Thats fukt. He coulda saved that dumbass with a push or kick.

Dumbass could have saved himself by being less dumb.

In foreign countries its very common that the standard plugs are 220v rather than 110v. No ground and faulty wiring you get this. Guy would probably be alive if it were 110v. Even then its nothing to play around with.

In most cases 220 will hit you hard enough to knock you back while 110 will hit you just hard enough to grab hold of you so you can't let go.

Hard to say. Higher voltage means higher current when resistance is unchanged (e=i*r). it's just as likely that he would have died on a 120v circuit because it takes like 1 amp to kill you if uninterrupted.

Yep correct. I've seen guys in the Philippines put a metal ladder against power lines. Was getting ready to see the great arc of Jesus. But nothing happened.

That guy was an assassin. He walked off with a briefcase and everything like, "My job here is done."

Turd world sand nigger discovers electricity.

There is, like, a lot of context missing from this video

Electrocution = bad, no fun

Yeah but why is the outside of the fan electrified?

Bad grounding of the Fan. Looks like the third world where they don't give a fuck about electrical code.

Windings get loose and touch chassis. More than likely the strain relief where the wires go into the fan have become undone, pulled, worn or frayed and are touching the chassis. But good chassis ground would still keep this from happening to this extent.

Plug had probably stopped being tested five years prior. Employees keep running over power cord with bags etc. Open current = bad day for that guy.

why does he walk up and grab the fan?

Was wondering the same thing. His body language is borderline aggressive, and he came up to that fan with a fucking purpose. I'll bet he asked the guy in the orange vest to redirect it, he said "no", so this moron is like "Fine, I'll fucking come behind your counter and do it myself!"

That's what it looks like to me, bereft of context. It would explain why the vested guy didn't give a shit, if the zapped guy was being a belligerent asshole.

He’s a crispy critter, his heart stopped.
