Yeah, you know I just say god dam and jesus christ all the time. I suspect theres some part of my brain that still believes in god, regardless of the fact that my conscious mind totally rejects the notion that one exists. Its probably the part that makes Tourettes patients yell crazy things. Anyway whoever it is that lives at the back of my brain, still damns the coffee table to hell on a regular basis when I bump in to it with the fervor of a pentacostal minister

Wouldn't an atheist be more free to say jesus and God as curses than a Christian?

Yes I know that taking the lord's Name In vain means using God's authority to persuade or claiming to speak for God. But most Christians think it means using God and jesus as expletives.

It is the variety I seem to be most surrounded by, yes.

Someone once told me that their experience is that catholics are the most likely to abandon their religion.

Like whenever they see someone who left the church, it was catholics everytime.
