Just an FYI if any of you go visit Chichen Itza and check out their ball court, that's not a ball court. It was for parades or theatre. I have personally set foot in probably over a dozen actual ball courts and they are all about the size of a driveway for a modern suburban home. The one in Chichen Itza is about the size of a modern day football field. The goal hoops on a real one are only about 6 feet up, while the ones at Chichen Itza are propably 20 feet up or more.

Neat, I didn't know that.
