Why is Bitcoin priced in Dollars?

[–] 2 pts

BTC is priced in every local regional currency.

It's priced in dollars because you're viewing it in English.

Retard.

Why is there a dollar value for euros?

Because European assets are priced in Euros and so there has to be an exchange rate established based on the value of those assets/commodities in USD.

  1. Ease of psychological reference.
  2. USD is the most liquid market.

So in other words, Bitcoin only has value because the USD exists.

The first question was bad enough (bitcoin is priced in fucking bitcoin) but this is fucking straight retardation.

Gold is priced in dollars. So is oil. So is real estate.

I got most of my crypto in ETH but I wish I had gone with BTC instead! When are we selling here boys? I'm thinking we get to the $40-50k range and then puke down to $15-20k range.

Whether you are a bitcoin bull or bear, it's hard not to be in awe of this epic meltup in price. The shorts have gotten annihilated at least 3 times over the past month, and the inflow of dollars doesn't seem to be slowing down either.

There's no real incentive to sell, and the big market players (like Grayscale) literally don't even have a process for selling.
