Jury is still out. I'm still going to need to see her shoot. A good wife should not only be able to disassemble and clean it after the range, but also be proficient enough to pull security effectively and watch your back while you're focused on your breathing and trigger control. Good spotting skills would also be a plus.

I recall hearing that during the War for American Independence, they kept women near the line to reload muskets.

Not sure if that was true or just a handful of one off cases blown up into something more by (((feminists))). I’m leaning toward the latter, but as long as she didn’t jam it, she might have a similar usefulness.
