Could they be made here and sold for $10 and make a profit for the manufacturers?
The only people buying that sort of thing are White guys who are electronics hobbyists and very dangerous to Trump’s jewgenda.
WhitePeopleThings.
I’m not being sarcastic or hyperbolic, here. Cutting off our supply of electronics we might use for asymmetrical operations to help us balance against superior numbers is the reason for these tariffs.
I’ve said it before: if Trump and the GOP wanted to fix the trade deficit and heal the economy, he’d audit the Fed, bring charges of treason against its board of governors, and dissolve that body all while repudiating the national debt, citing it as a fraud.
Correct. There is no desire to fix anything. This reminds me of the Tucker Carlson Catherine Austin Fitts interview. She nailed it.
Here's a link for some of her insights on jewTube (m.youtube.com)
Have they ever been quality parts though? I had to order parts from China a few times because that was the only place I could get it at the time.
Like 8 our of 10 were non-functional and the ones that did work failed in ~6 months. Fucking useless.
All I'll say is they've mostly worked for my needs. The documentation has been the real killer. I spend a ton of time getting stuff to work.
Oh FFS the documentation.. Or well, lack there of in every possible way. I think one of these damn things I found a forum in Russian that I had to translate to get some of that shit to work and it still was garbage.
Since they translated it from Mandarin or something and I re-translated the Russian to English with google.
This is hitting model kits as well. A chinese scale model maker, very prolific, (ships, planes, tanks) is now selling on ebay, and charges 2-400 for shipping to US. The cha-bu-dow, (it's good enough) part: while very prolific, every kit has a flaw. Some big, some not so big. So, while every kit has limitations of some sort, inherent to scale modelling, their kits magnify the issues. This is all chinese manufactured goods in a nut shell. The supposed captains of industry only answer to the shareholders, people be damned.
The system was bound to collapse at some point.
Yes. Thank God I may have a wee collection of kits to build.... But, the JIT system will spell retail sadness for many. Even the google news marks the business downsizing across the US. Simplifying life will become a neccesity for many. Life in cities will get interesting, to say the least.
Absolutely.
But think of all the money you'll save when they abolish income tax /s
Realistically these parts are probably worth $20. Would you prefer to subsidize 10 chinks at $2 an hour or 1 White at $20 for the actual 30 minutes or so it probably takes to produce?
I am seeing that $200 shipping fee on some chink stuff on eBay.
Yep.
Something isn't right with that vendor. The tarrifs are not 4000% but their price increase is. Vendor is asshole!
Chinks are money grubbing scammers.
Yeah they list at 2.50 on a parts website, couple hundred for 100 or more. This might happen but I think this is sourced from the same memage as the trump-as-pope meme that has everyone's panties in a bunch.
