Via JJ Sefton:

This presupposes that a changing climate - which it has been for at least 3 billion years with man having nothing to do with it - warrants a solution in the first place, as if we humans could do anything at all.

Nuke power has been a big part of the solution to our power problem for a long time. The other part would be to rebuild and strengthen our current fragile grid.

Maybe 20 years ago, I don't think I want nuclear power in the age of mandatory racial quotas.

Even in the hands of a full White crew I'd still be very hesitant about introducing nuclear power.

All you need its a couple bad eggs working controls, or a company cutting costs via refusal to get necessary components or a unexpected natural disaster (looking at you fukishima) and then your dealing with fallout.

Just hard pass for me on nuclear energy at this point. Besides, even if you have coal plants going nonstop they will never make as much pollution as 1 volcano eruption. Fuck the notion of climate change. If people want to reduce pollution and what not plant some trees.

It's not so much the operating crew, as the initial construction I would be deeply concerned about, France has been quietly ticking along on nuclear power for 50 years, because they massively over-engineer their reactors and have a yard long list of rules as to where it can be built. The Newest generation reactors have a fool-proof dead man's switch, if the system doesn't have human interaction after a set amount of time, a vile of frozen fluorite melts, opening a circuit that begins an automated shutdown procedure.

I think the time where America can build something like a nuclear reactor or a Jupiter Rocket is coming to a close. Just look at the recent BBB scheme, a set amount of contracting must come from minority vendors and contractors. Today it's some dindus using hotmops on tarmac, but I can well imagine South Africa situation, where state funds are essentially burned on black companies, who at best are crooks using a black frontman, more likely a group of blacks who simply do not have the intellect or grift to provide the service.

I am picturing a chernobyl like event, where a newly built reactor, built using substandard materials, staffed with affirmative action hires makes a chuck of our beautiful land uninhabitable for the next 1,000 years.
