That song kind of strikes a chord with me, because the land around where I grew up was stripped by Peabody. It was reclaimed, but the land will be scarred for centuries as trees try to grow back.
CO2 is necessary for plant life, therefore it is necessary for animals and us. When ((they)) say we must reduce CO2 levels, they mean reduce human levels.
You are the carbon they wish to reduce.
