The money changed hands so everyone is happy except the taxpayer who will ultimately pay for this.
I'm getting the feeling these solar farms are like China's tofu architecture. The sort they build just to build something so that they can trick foreign investors into buying condemned real estate or companies that are saddled with massive debt.
All built on climate lies and US government corruption with your money but without your approval.
I can't wait to see this industry implode. We'll never see that wasted money again but at least it will stop the bleeding. If we are really lucky, there will be in depth investigation into who/what/how/why/when this fraud that has cost America hundreds of billions (or more) was forced upon us.
I'd love to have a solar installation done by a competent White-owned and operated company, not this shitskin DEI shit that calls itself solar companies. Power stability is what I want, not virtue-signalling about the environment. It would make running a stack of servers in-house much cheaper.
Power stability ≠ solar/air power sources.
Supplemental source of power only. Maybe more useful if there were battery farms to store it for peak use periods when most needed but battery farms will add even more cost per kwH.
I'm not talking about for public use, I want a private installation so I don't have to pay hundreds a month.
hundreds a month
Ouch!
Swamp coolers, attic ventilation fans (to extract hot air), extra ceiling/wall insulation, duo-pane windows with inert gas, and a few other tricks can reduce your power consumption. Not sure what you may already have installed.
I'm just not a fan of solar, but depending on your location (if, say New Mexico, AZ, California, Utah, Colorado) they may be cost effective over their ~20 year lifespan. Here in Maine our tranny loving Governor Mills is pushing solar programs with tax rebates but because of our latitude and weather they are far less effective that locations further south.
