I know of an engineer from a Denver firm who was working on a project to pump co2 from the surface atmosphere under ground.. because co2 is apparently bad or something. I almost questioned him about plants requiring co2 to grow, but I knew it was a waste of time.
I'm no biologist, but I'm sure my 4th grade science teacher taught the class that plant life absorbs co2 largely through the leaves to facilitate photosynthesis. Part of this process was also explained as the plants breaking down the co2 into carbon and oxygen. Therefore in my mind, removing co2 is essentially also removing oxygen.. which of course all other lifeforms require.
"But muh climate change.."
He works on “carbon sequestrationing” I believe it’s called?
Are they still trying/doing that? They’re wanted to pump it underground where it came from which plants would do naturally. I remember that back in 2005-2007 time frame and thought it was stupid then.
