It's very possible, studies are starting to find out that certain videogames can help prevent Alzheimers! There are board games that are a type of RTS if you have friends who like boardgames who want to play. It is suspected that First Person Shooters are not helpful in helping retain cognitive function that would prevent Alzheimers. This study used limited screen time, partially because they were doing this study with an older generation. They only got to play the game 3 times a week or something to that effect. Now I really have a hankering to play Halo Wars 2, that's the only RTS I really know how to play. If your looking for a fun one with big booms and early game micro, this game is the way to go!
