Nothing we humans could do will cause a collapse. Humanity has come too far and individuals have much to gain by solving problems the previous generation(s) caused (somebody would make some serious $ by solving the world's problems). A collapse will more than likely by brought on by a "natural" disaster; Yellowstone erupting, meteor strike, solar flare, ect. We'll have decades to analyze data on a potential distater we may cause, but any response to a "natural" distater will probably be reactionary and will come too late for millions, if not billions. Just my thoughts.
