This has been going on for at least 2 days, about a 100% failure rate. I've been adding the twitter source links in the post body. I'm about to give up on unofficialbird for a while until they get their shit together. It's possible X has shut down their back end access.
I'll have no choice but to post actual twitter links for the time being.

I tried both on a tweet with a video, I couldn't get the video to play from either archived tweet. Is there a trick I'm missing or is archiving tweets only good for non-video tweets?
