Demand refund from the providers of said test.
The test providers didn't sell them in bad faith. There's no reason to demand a refund from them, this is buyer's remorse.
This is another sign of the hysteria dying down. I know people who still test themselves every time they have cold or flu symptoms. It’s good to know they are a tiny minority.
Make everyone at every level responsible in procuring them to shove them right up their asses.

Edit: and dock the pay of "everyone at every level responsible in procuring them" until the bill is paid.
Take every politician who voted to get these drugs and/or force them on people, (say it is 1000). Take the number of doses left, divide by 1000 and that is how many each one of these politicians are to receive to demonstrate how safe and effective they are.

So after the test kits become useless, the disposal of whatever they can't/don't use creates a new, fabulous grifting opportunity?
"Environmentally sound" means they'll be tossed in a landfill when no one is looking.
The "Financially sound" means they will create a no bid contract winner who will charge a predetermined amount (as much they think they can get away with) and provide a 50% kickback to the "right people" ... courtesty of the taxpayers (30% of which didn't want a vaxx or testing).
