We have a purpose, and our purpose is to be happy. "Happy" is the feedback mechanism created by God to let we lowly humans know when we are fulfilling our lives and living as we are supposed to live. If you are unhappy, that is a certain indicator that you are not living you life as God intended. Unhappiness exists for only one reason -- to force us to search for the mode of life we were intended to live. When we find it, we are happy. We can't help being happy if we are living as God intended.
