A group of students at Colorado State University organized a sit-in today at the administration building, following a protest outside the day before.
The students are raising concerns about recent changes announced by CSU President Amy Parsons, due to President Trump's diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) executive orders.
Online President Parsons shared that the U.S. Department of Education and current administration has "made it clear that organizations which fail to comply will put their federal funding at risk."
Parsons added online, "Federal funding makes up roughly one-third of CSU’s overall budget and includes funding for research, student programs, community partnerships and federal financial aid."
