The problem with massive flywheels, is that you don't want a massive flywheel

The higher the electrical load on the output, the harder it is to turn the generator shaft. A large flywheel will run down faster with more load. Physics still applies here.

Man, I cannot believe that these are still going.

The only credible power-question that I could believe was the guy in the Sirius Disclosure. That one sounded interesting, and actually had the air of believably, including their theory about how it doesn't violate conservation of energy.
