Hopefully I will have moved by the middle to end of summer and will be asking a bunch of you crazy people to give me suggestions on my designs on the solar/genset/hybrid/grid/etc setup I intend to build. I do like the idea of salvaging battery packs from scrapped EV's I have seen someone do this with a scrapped leaf, it took him a while to get the battery out and to mount it but it cost so much less to do that it seemed worth it. I would be building a new building on a pad away from the house to act as my battery and transfer space because I don't trust that shit in the house.
