Dr. Brian May is an astrophysicist. He had a little break between starting his doctoral thesis and earning his PhD. In that multi-decade hiatus, he happened to play his homemade guitar for one of the most influential rock bands to exist. The world knows his music, but he is a scientist as well as a legendary guitar player. This is the Anglo-Saxon spirit embodied.
