I consoled myself a lot with this guy's music as a troubled youth. This one stings a little.

I appreciate the importance of his place in hard rock/metal history. Without him lots of the music I do love probably wouldn't exist. His actual work though just never spoke directly to me. Still sucks.

That guy was wild. He hasn't been able to speak in full sentences in 10 years, but hand him a guitar and mic and he was still a beast.
