No shit Sherlock. The education system hasn't been about education since the Little House on the prairie days.

That's why "kids" today can't do math at retail cash registers. They were never taught 'how' mathematics actually work. Just how to hit the buttons on their smartphone. And the next generation won't know how to 'think' cuz the AI will do it all.

I don't know what the answer to the question is, so instead of researching the answer and learning something new, I will take the easy way and copy/paste what the AI came up with.

And the real truth: they learned to regurgitate the answer that their teachers are looking for, and no one was expected to learn anything.

This links to the bigger problem of how people/kids were taught to "learn" over the last 40-ish+ years.

It's not about learning anymore. Its about repeating what you were told so you do well on a test and the school gets more funding because the "numbers look good". It also has created the modern "progressive/liberal" that is unable to use critical thinking and when faced with facts they don't like that contradict their "talking points" they simply shut down or scream/throw shit etc....
