A 9 mm handgun loaded w/ hydroshoks would have gotten better penetration. .45s are generally subsonic and like to mushroom in doors and windshields.

Does it still brick the battery pack in a minor accident? Which will cost you tens of thousands of dollars to replace. If they tell you the battery is fine after an accident... do you trust that? Will your insurance cover you if it burns down your house while charging?
