On November 11, 2010, Samuel Keith Irick was shot in the chest at a gas station. A woman at the station was waiting in line when Anthony Ferrell approached her with a pistol. He pressed the handgun into her stomach and demanded her purse. When 24-year-old Samuel tried to intervene, Anthony killed him.
