Roundly and soundly beaten.I’ve seen the curvature of the earth, it’s real and it’s around here somewhere.
What these dimwits don't understand is that, yes, Earth actually is just THAT big, and we are actually just THAT small in relation to it, that we cannot notice curvature unless we are an extremely long distance away from it, like thousands of miles. Not just a few tens of miles.
Flat earth is fun, even though its spherical. Flat earth talks about physics n stuff. I like learning about the density of matter and aeronautics, wing and ground effect, the development of the Concord and the evolution of rocketry. How things function in a vaccuum and under water pressure.
People doing experiments n whatnot.
I think flat earth fever came about because people are realizing we have been lied to for so long about so many different things. The knee jerk reaction is to question everything. Also it seems like some of the nasa stuff doesn't pass the smell test. Why lie? $3.5 million a day, you gotta justify that. Maybe the telemetry data is hidden for state/military secret reasons idk.
My public education was shit. Never covered physics or chemistry a bit of biology. So whatever gets me learning is ok in my book.
The kookieness it fun too. Better than sportsball.
For properly schooled people I can see their frustration, but their the ones we need the most as they are the prime movers of knowledge in these fields.
Or tracing a 690 mph line across the horizon.
My neighbor is a tweaker. He stole my garden tools. I have a suspicion hes the one hiding the curvature everyone is looking for. If it's not locked down that fuker will take it.
