I remember during the peak of the baby formula shortage many people were posting "recipes" for baby formula. A bunch of those recipes include HFCS or corn syrup. I didn't even know you could buy these at the grocery store. I always assumed it only came in brightly colored metal 55 gallon drums with a poison symbol on the side. I'm still not believing people would put that shit in anything home made. Then again I can't believe people took the vax and are still getting boosters.

Someone asked for a baby formula recipe on this very site a few days ago.

Boobs. That's where baby food comes from. You don't have to buy it, just put down the meth pipe for God's sake

That's everything in the US. We use corn syrup instead of sugar, and it sucks.

"Made in the USA" gone wrong. Cane sugar is super cheap, so cheap that enormous tariffs have been slapped on it. That's the only reason HFCS is so widely used.

Gotta protect Archer-Daniels-Midland and Cargill investments in corn production.

Another hidden tax, just like inflation. Every time you buy a product that would have been less expensive without that sugar tariff you are paying a tax to support ADM and Cargill, but you don't even realize it. Stealth socialism.

They also sell a version in the USA with sugar in it, but it costs more and the bottle is smaller.

"Natural Flavoring" in the US is often a term used to hide the use of MSG.

Buy Hunts all natural.

Was going to post that. It's all I buy

So basically exactly the same except we use corn syurp instead of sugar.

It looks like different labeling laws. Corn syrup is sugar. Distilled vinegar is spirit vinegar. Etc

You can thank al gore for that one.

HFCS is still liquid type 2 diabetes, though.

Why not just eat steak instead?

[–] 1 pt

In the U.S. you can get a version which uses cane sugar in place of the corn syrups.

Who tf even uses ketchup?

Fish and chips with tomato sauce is a once a week special meal for me mate. We don't have many fast food shops around where I live. Closest mcdicks is about 30km away.

Tomato sauce? Like pasta sauce? Or ketchup? I always preferred homemade tartar with my fish and chips, but I haven't had them in years.

Tomato sauce is the same thing as ketchup I think. England Ozy, NZ call it tomato sauce. US calls it ketchup.

People who eat food as opposed to people that eat bugs and rice.

Lol I don't use ketchup so that means I eat bugs.

Came here to say this. Haven’t used condiments in 20 years. It’s all bad for you
