Ugh, don't remind me. My mom always compared dating and being married to men to training dogs and talked about them as different breeds she preferred or didn't.
This has been an agenda pushed since the beginning of feminism. My mom when she was little was repeatedly raped by her babysitters and grew up to hate and not trust humans.
I had to forcefully break myself of the habit of dehumanizing men and myself, as the habit had been engrained since birth. I have not been raped or heavily abused by people, in fact despite my insane feminist upbringing, men have generally been good to me. Now when I talk with my mom and she starts dehumanizing men I will forcefully stop the conversation to let her know that I do not respect that line of thought and that I do not consider men animals. If she pushes me I will compare her ideology to bestiality. She no longer argues the point with me.
Tldr: comparing men to dogs is bullshit narrative created by the same people pushing feminism.
If I was ever with a woman who compared me to an animal I would be gone that day.
It is dehumanizing and toxic.
