Eliminating cheap electronics/computing isn’t about money and it isn’t about trade.

It’s about making parallel communications/networks cost prohibitive.

Imagine being able to afford a $30 drone with an encrypted system that you’ve worked out to broadcast/receive over miles without having to rely on a major provider and because it’s so tiny and modular it can hide from FCC (think pirate radio in the old days).

Taking cheap components off the market means fewer available.

Trump wants you on the main carriers/networks so he can fry you for spreading pro-White messages.

If that's what you are interested in why not go ultra wide band? It's slow but travels far and slow comms are more important than no comms.

“They’re taking away your ability to own an automatic weapon.”

“If that’s what you’re interested in, why not go with a rifle with a scope. A single shot fired from long distance is better than no shots fired.”

Whoosh

First of all, the point is they’re restricting access to materials that could be used for pockets of resistance to engage in communication, not that they’d be left with no communication. Hell, smoke signals still exist.

Second, that was one example of how cheap tech can be used. It isn’t like the materials for producing slow comms are somehow going to be more available than those for what I described.

A low cost drone could also be used for surveillance, loaded with explosives and used as a bomb, or attached to a vibrator and shoved up JD Vance’s ass to distract him from seeing anti-Israel demonstrations.

Trump is restricting access to cheap electronics to box people in and limit their options.
