Remember when everybody hated on Flash Player because of its security flaws and they demanded that the browser replace Flash functionality with HTML5? Flash died. HTML5 brought no worthwhile replacement functionality. The browser got super bloated and now we have so many security flaws in it that zero-days are common. These same people all crucified IE for being bloated and unsecure but they are happy to accept that all browsers are now using the bloated and unsecure Chrome engine. What the fuck happened to technology? Fucking (((jewgle))) and (((Apple))) fanbois got us here. Fuck you all.

That may be true but I still FUCKING HATED flash. Just another technology abused to be used in ways that never made sense and was a pain in the ass if you were using anything but Windows.

This same statement applies to the browser perfectly. It was and still is designed for viewing HTML but it has been bastardized into all manner of technology abuses that don't fit its core purpose. It needs to die and get replaced with newer and better application delivery technologies. The current implementation is completely fucked.

These updates mean you don't have to pay for antivirus software because the new Chrome version patches all pre-existing vulnerabilities.

Yeah, that is some retard level shit.. Though other than stuff like ClamAV I don't really use AV these days.. But I also don't download sketchy shit and my network has IDS/HIDS and other protections.

I found ad blocking and some moderate script control gets rid of almost all of that crap.
