From the post:

>A trove of leaked Google documents has given us an unprecedented look inside Google Search and revealed some of the most important elements Google uses to rank content. Thousands of documents, which appear to come from Google's internal Content API Warehouse, were released March 13 on Github by an automated bot called yoshi-code-bot. There might be some more interesting details in those documents for people deep into SEO, but the biggest insight into Google search rankings is the news of the changes they made in 2019 under a new manager. From another they seemed to have rolled back most of the 2012 changes that filtered out SEO spam sites to intentionally clutter the search results.

If you are one of those people engineering networks of fake, low quality websites to game the rankings and make advertising money it is once again open season on Google.

Yeah, I was thinking something similar. On the other hand. I really want to know if they have other stuff in there that is related to political ranking/deranking. When I somehow find some free time im going to read over what I can.

I bet the “Twiddlers” and “Demotions” are full of that stuff.
