Percy Pig Gummy Candy bags will hit the shelves nationwide starting March 30.
Although the treats will be new to Americans, British retailer Marks & Spencer has been selling Percy Pig treats since 1992 in the UK - where they have become so popular that a recipe change in 2019 sparked backlash that led to a U-turn.
'We're thrilled to bring Percy Pig sweets to the U.S. and introduce him as a character to a whole new audience,' Sharry Cramond, the food marketing director at M&S, said in a press release.
Cramond continued by saying the gummy treat has 'brought fun, nostalgia and happiness to fans of all ages in the UK.'
