I’ve live here for 40 years and ARs have always been available to buy. Not sure where this 30 year old “ban” is coming from. Sounds like fake news.

The terrorists in San Bernardino proved without question that a 'ban' (gun control) means absolutely Nothing to a criminal and there is no argument that supports restricting any firearm from the American citizen. The gold standard of gun control is, Chicago+gun control=762 murders every year.
