This. My hearing isn't all that great. I supplement it by reading lips so I can fill in the blanks of what I'm not audibly catching. I have the choice of feeling like an ass having people repeat themselves multiple times or go by what I am able to make out and hope I got the gist of what they are saying. It sucks. The one with the isntreal flag on its twitter post name (LiterallyYourMom🇮🇱) isn't the deaf woman from the article, that's just someone who commented on the deaf woman's story.

Reminder that whenever you interact with a masked branch covidian and they want something from you, pretend that you can't understand them through their mask. Keep doing it until they either take off their mask or give up.
