I have an idea to remedy the political system in the US. Congressional candidates can only accept campaign donations from registered voters in the the district they are running to represent. Senators and state elected politicians can accept donations from registered voters of that state. Presidential candidates can only accept donations from US registered voters. Why are politicians being bought with donations from foreigners and people from other states?
