I don't know how TE developed an obsession with George Harrison I thought he was an ok guitarist and a mediocre song writer and that's about it, his later work with EC and with Carl Perkins revealed his vocals did contribute enormously to the Beatles overall sound, so they must have been his strong point a fact omitted by most music historians. Ok I was in the departure lounge at Sydney airport waiting for a connection to Brisbane after working on construction at the Ranger Uranium Mine at Jabiru in the NT, there was only one other person in the lounge a bloke about my own age, in the spirit of traveler's bonhomie I said "hiya mate" and he snarled at me.. He took the connecting flight to Coolangatta I went on to Brisbane .. that evening on the television news came a story that George H had flown into Coolangatta and was heading to a Hare Krishna meet in Murwillumbah across the border in NSW .. footage showed the same dude had been rude to me at Sydney Airport so sodd him as well. I don't do much music these days .. I got tired of pandering to the egos of some otherwise pretty awful ppl.
