I was thinking of past experiences where drama has ruined the band. You're going to have it. It's stressful. But, for fuck's sake, keep it off the stage. The audience doesn't want to see that.
A goodly amount of my fill-in work was because of bands that had drama and needing someone to work with them while they found a new guitarist or, sometimes, drummer.
