The more screen time you expose yourself to, the more likely you are to experience symptoms of mental illness.
Those who are mentally ill, regardless, will have exacerbated symptoms due to screen time.
For example, schizophrenia, in Africa, among other places that were lacking in technology, presented as an uncontrollable giddiness. In screen time world, schizophrenia is lead to present as hostile and violent and super paranoid.
Why? For a variety of reasons. First, just staring at a screen instead of doing something with your life is the basic attack. Now that AI can spit out code at you, for html, php, etc, my hope is that people will develop a lot more time saving tools.
For example, while it's a little more advanced, building your own stock screeners and trading bots saves a tremendous amount of time. Instead of spending 8 hours a day researching and setting up trades, you can accomplish all of that in about 5 minutes, now, if you make your own custom toolset.
I have always strived to limit the amount of time I spend on projects, because prioritization is important to make sure you are living your life and reaching your goals and not burning yourself out. I do believe Poal is one such "shortcut" to viewing the news.
