I hope that they lose millions in revenue from hunters who travel to Colorado every year and bring their guns into the state...
Wow! If a law requires a class to understand, it's bad law.
You know the real intent is to probably force local schools to teach kids this law so they can disarm their parents or friends parents right?
They already do their best to make guns look as scary and evil as possible in school, this is just the next step. Even if it doesn't work it will create a sudo-registry of people that were reported even if their guns were not taken.
Yea, you know small children have been . Those are very scary.
Or the kid that held up a piece of fried chicken like a gun. Or the one that bit his pop-tart into the shape of a gun.... etc, etc. There are so many stores of this.
We need to reverse the "no tolerance" policies around this shit. It has been going on for decades. I once had a teacher try to get me expelled because I had a paintball magazine in class to read when I was done with my work. I was sent to the councilor, the principals office, they wanted to do a "behavioral test" on me to see if I was a threat...etc.
Luckily my parents were not morons. I refused everything and said they would just have to expel me. My parents said they would be thrilled to sue the hell out of the school and make sure that everyone involved lost their jobs. Well, that teacher glared at me every single time they saw me and yes, I did continue to bring my magazines and read them when I was done with my work in class. Other students started doing the same as well too.
Homeschool your kids people. If you can't, make sure that the school isn't trying to fuck them over or trans them or something and always threaten legal repercussions.
