Assuming 900,000 people and a very conservative 60 kg average body weight, the ash remains after combustion would produce:
Element............Symbol...Bodily%.....Total Volume
Calcium ...........Ca...........1.50%........810,000 kg
Phosphorus......P..............1.00%.......540,000 kg
Potassium.........K.............0.40%.......216,000 kg
Sulfur.................S.............0.30%......162,000 kg
Sodium..............Na...........0.20%......108,000 kg
Chlorine.............Cl............0.20%......108,000 kg
Magnesium........Mg..........0.10%........54,000 kg
Just the Na and K concentrations would pollute that area and very few varieties of plants would survive that region. Only plants that tolerate extremely basic soils would surive.
There is no evidence that the foliage inside the camp is different than the plants ouside the fences.
Interesting. You should make an info-graphic on this; very compelling argument.
I've thought of that argument too. Even if they were all turned to ash, that much would drastically adjust the soil pH.
