Riight...... based on what, models? The actual data says less frequent and weaker hurricanes, which would make sense as the strength of storms is driven by temperature differential, and if the higher latitudes are warming faster, then the temperature differential will be decreasing, leading to less strong storms. The higher latitudes will warm faster, because the equatorial regions are pretty much as warm as they will get. This is due to the very high humidity, resulting in the formation of clouds which then cool the surface. It's effectively a thermostat that stops runaway warming.

In reality, they just want gibs from the tax payers (not from the Government, the Government has nothing to give that they do not first steal).

Hawaii should look to other states, other countries and its own past to gain insight on how to scare the fuck out of people running around like chicken little screaming the sky is falling so they can make us pay more and more in the face of a warming future that promises more frequent and stronger hurricanes
