I remember a trail on Maui, it was semi crowded and I had to pee really bad. I ducked off the trail behind this large Boulder to pee, and while peeing looked at the Boulder under vegetation and it was covered with glyphs similar to things we had seen all fenced off and protected in another area. Neat stuff.

The diapers and trash really are upsetting though.
