Tropical Storm Erick is still on track to become a hurricane by Monday night or early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. As of 11 a.m. today, Erick was about 1,945 miles east of Hilo and moving west near 17 mph. Maximum sustained winds have increased to 45 mph.
