Not sure if it was DDT but as a kid at the drive in movie theater they used to run a vehicle up and down the rows blowing out some type of insecticide.

If you live in a marshy area it may have been mosquito killer. They still do that in a lot of places.

My mother did this as a child. She says they called it Mr. Foggy and the entire neighborhood would chase behind it on bikes.

the WHO still recommends DDT and is effectively the DDT lobby, but it is supposed to be phased out by the year 2020, not sure what actually happened then. last time i checked DDT was still in widespread use in India.

the downside to the hindus using DDT is what ????

i guess it means they have not enough covid. DDT is an anti malaria thing, and hydroxychloquine is a malaria medication...

We have DDT to thank for the near-extinction of the bedbug. Want to know why they're now a problem again? No DDT.
