Today is memorial for Croatian city Vukovar and remember of all those who were massacred by the Yugoslavian army and the heroic defence of the city.
Around 1,800 Croatian soldiers defended the city strongly against 36,000 Yugoslavian soldiers, the city was predicted to fall within 24 hours but the defence held on for nearly 3 months, until the last man.
Today, the Croatian flag is proudly above the damaged water tower as a symbol to the struggle.
That's a crazy looking water tower.
Looks like a solid concrete pour. They typically can't be demolished safely (like the shitty chemistry building at the University of Cincinnati).
Who were the good guys in that war?
President of the Croatia, Franjo Tudman, who declared it's independence from Yugoslavia was a Supreme Commander during the war and is also the only person on the planet who issued an indictment against George Soros and everyone in positions of power who sided with him in Croatia. He also created an Anti-Soros campaign and proclaimed him as an enemy of the Croatian state.
Ofcourse this lead to him being assassinated by CIA.
CIA was initially on Serban side until they fucked up this siege, then they tried to make a deal with Croatia. Serbia was deeply connected with jews since their Ottoman times. For example Marina Abramovic is a Serbian jew.
