Picture a dark night, at 1:27 a.m, in Norman, Oklahoma just a few months ago. Harrison Hipp, a jewish man, is quietly walking down the street, minding his own business. Protected by the darkness, several men approach. For no reason at all, they scream "dirty jew" and then they start absusing him. Initially they snatch the cowboy hat from his head under which he [for some fashionable reason] also wears a tiny yarmulke and then they proceed to grab that too. Brutal uppercuts, swings and hooks landed on the poor man's face as if they were destined to. It was a Holocaust, I'm sure. Mr. Hipp was beat up and taken to the hospital after suffering from bruises and a cerebral hemorrhage. What later transpired was quite interesting because the Norman Police Department stated that obtained video footage depicted "significant disagreement" with this narrative and that the "reporting party, initially reported as the victim" of a hate crime was shown on video to actually be the "aggressor," who engaged ONE individual, not a group, in a series of "mutual combat" but got served a whopping of Herculean proportions because the true victim defended himself.
