Its a fairly common thing where I live, but I personally haven't gone to a barber in years.. maybe over a decade at this point.
During the whole shutdown ordeal, it was a bit alienating to see people unable to manage their hair.
What do you do? Just buzz it?
Essentially. I use one of the smaller guards. Back to front all over, this leaves a bit more hair on the top than on the sides and back of the head.
Its not stylish, but I could cut my hair blind. I can't imagine having to take extra time out of my day to pay someone else to groom me like a dog.
