Slippery fucking slope. I bought the lies when I was young. They just want to love each other. The rational older generation was saying, "you don't understand where this goes".
The young generation was saying "what could go wrong. Love is love".
Well, guess what. It's not a slippery slope. It's a fucking cliff of despair and only getting worse.
It isn't a single cliff either, it is a series of cliffs. We stay on the next one down until it is accepted as normal...then the courts lurch us off that one. Funny how it is usually always through the courts.
It's the only way they can force society to accept it. No one really accepts it in the end. They just get used to it being life and hate even more than they did before.
I was raised in a liberal household and was never a real follower of the ideals. then I moved from a somewhat conservative area to a very liberal area for work. Nothing will make you run the other direction faster than living in a progressive shithole.
