Thanks for posting this,

Yes, this is indeed media malpractice. Those editors should be fired or pushing those headlines because we know from research a majority just read the headlines.

Despite her being a shitty person, good on Ana for admitting she was wrong because she didn't watch the original videos. The problem remains that she talked about the case, made judgements, has an audience of hundreds of thousands, and still didn't check the facts beforehand. She's part of the problem.

Before I said anything at all about this case, before I formed any opinions, I skipped the fluff. Skipped all commentary. Just watched the vids. Then I made a judgment. It turns out, it was self-defense just like I thought it was. The fact that Kyle even got indicted is fishy. But many pointed out that Kyle had to be indicted because of the political heat around the situation (fuck that noise, though).

Remember Indian-Drummer-MAGA-Smirk-Boy? Media strategically cut the vid showing the Indian walking up into his face, beating the drum. When I saw that vid, I immediately assumed the media was being fuck faces. Looked for the original clip. Found it: it was nearly an hour and kept getting removed from YouTube. But I found it. It was exactly what I thought it was: a young man wearing a MAGA hat, showing extreme restraint in front of an asshole who walked up on a bunch of kids and beat his drum in their faces.

Mainstream Media really irritates me. Bunch of filthy liars.

Excellent points, all. I particularly liked this one:

His name is Nick Sandmann and he sued six or seven media outlets for defamation. He settled with WaPo for $250 million, and CNN for almost as much. Every victim of media malpractice should do the same, even if it make lawyers rich in the process.
