I am genuinely torn between believing Reddit representing the majority opinion and Reddit being highly manipulated to mould the appearance of a majority opinion. Like most on Poal, I can no longer participate in most discussions there even if I wanted, but seeing how many are willing to be confrontational about wearing masks or not having guests is troubling. Perhaps it's just that a large flock is controlled by a few dogs.

Putting words into user's mouths, which means making them appear like they wrote something they never actually did, especially on sensitive posts, is one of the greatest violations of user trust possible.
