It's not an invasion. Donetsk and Luhansk requested help from Russia. Also more propaganda is that Putin just recently named/recognized them as independent. That's not true. They have been sovereign nations for at least 7 years. All the while Ukraine has been steady shelling the region and committing genocide.

Congrats on being one of the few who sees through the bullshit.

Forget the fact that in 2014 Ukraine was bombing Donbass and reneging on a deal the previous corrupt leadership made with Russia. But don't let that get in the way of a good story. THE only reason Ukraine is getting sympathy is because they mouthed off like a small man and got whipped with a belt. Their last act of defiance is admirable but still futile. Just like Snake Island, telling the Russian Navy to go fuck themselves. I like it, but it only got them killed. And honestly, I would have done the same. Surrender is only going to lead to a slow death.
