Ha! I had the exact same experience aside from making a big crybaby post about it. I still visited reddit for exactly one small niche subreddit just like in the post. I go there yesterday and there's a big post about how they're banning X posts even though there has never been a link to twitter/X on the sub. What a bunch of performative garbage by a bunch of faggots.
It's a shame how reddit has been degraded into a lefty crying pit. Used to visit a couple of the tech subs, but they went sour some years ago and never really went back except for one low post artwork sub that I scrape with RSS.
